Clematis ‘Madame Julia Correvon’

This deciduous Clematis was created in France in 1900. Clematis ‘Madame Julia Correvon’ has been awared the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its garden performance. The flowers have wine-red sepals and creamy-yellow stamens in the centre. It blooms from mid to late summer, so it is a good variety to plant alongside an earlier flowering Clematis. Perfect for obelisk and trellis planters in sunny positions. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 1.5m (5′). Pruning group: 3.
