Aquilegia caerulea ‘Mrs Scott-Elliott’

A pretty selection of large bicoloured blooms with unique spurred petals, which give rise to the common name ‘Granny’s Bonnet’. Aquilegia caerulea ‘Mrs Scott-Elliot’ flowers from late spring through to midsummer above clumps of elegant, feathery blue-green leaves. The nodding flowers on slender stems are a charming addition to cottage garden borders and woodland gardens, where they attract pollinating insects. Columbine flowers are also superb for cutting for a vase indoors.
